Privacy notice

Last updated 14 August 2026

This notice explains what personal data aidribbler collects, why we collect it, and what control you have. aidribbler is the data controller for the data described here.

01Data we collect

Account data: email address, display name, and authentication identifiers. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile from Google, not your password.

Preferences: currency, timezone, staking defaults, notification settings and any self-imposed limits you configure.

Content you enter: the bets you log in the tracker, including stake, selection, result and any notes. This is yours; we use it only to render your own tracking and, in aggregate and de-identified form, to improve the product.

Referral data: your invite code, and a record that a specific account joined through your link, so giveaway entries can be counted.

Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, and basic usage events needed to operate and secure the service.

Billing data: handled by our payment processor. We receive subscription status and the last four digits or card brand; we never see or store your full card details.

02Why we use it, and our legal basis

To provide the service and administer your subscription — performance of our contract with you.

To keep the service secure, prevent abuse of the referral programme, and comply with our legal obligations — our legitimate interests and legal obligation.

To send product and marketing email — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from Account settings or the unsubscribe link.

03What we never do

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your bet-tracking entries with bookmakers, gambling operators, affiliates or advertisers. We are not a gambling operator and we do not process gambling transactions, so no stake or payout data exists in our systems.

04Who processes data for us

We use a small set of processors under contract: hosting and database infrastructure, email delivery, payment processing, and product analytics. They act on our instructions only. Where data is transferred outside the EEA, it is protected by Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

05How long we keep it

Account and tracking data are kept while your account is open and deleted within 30 days of closure, except records we must retain for tax, accounting or fraud-prevention purposes (typically up to seven years for billing records). Referral records are kept for 12 months after the relevant draw so results can be audited.

06Your rights

You can request access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw marketing consent at any time. Contact us and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

07Cookies and similar technologies

We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember an invite code between clicking a link and creating an account. Any analytics or marketing cookies are only set with your consent.

08Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access to production systems is restricted, and per-user access rules are enforced at the database level so one account cannot read another's data. No system is perfectly secure; tell us immediately if you suspect a problem.

09Children

aidribbler is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors and will delete such data if we discover it.
